Your health, your weight: simple steps to making healthy choices

Why is a healthy weight important? Being in a healthy weight range may help you prevent health problems such as high blood pressure, high blood cholesterol, and type 2 diabetes. It may also lower your risk of heart disease and stroke.

In this brochure, you’ll find out whether you are at a healthy weight by helping you calculate your BMI (Body Mass Index) and measure your waist circumference. There are also nutrition and physical activity tips for keeping your children at a healthy weight, too.
