Chinese Heartbeat News

Heartbeat News is presented in Chinese courtesy of the Chinese Canadian Council of the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario. This publication provides health information, including the latest news from the realms of medical research, which can enable people to maintain healthy lives, especially by preventing heart disease and stroke. Each issue of Heartbeat News contains several columns: Headline News, Special Features, Mini Medical Encyclopedia, Heart-Healthy Eating, and news about the activities of the Chinese Canadian Council.

A group of enthusiastic volunteers work together to produce Heartbeat. The inaugural issue of Heartbeat News was launched in February, 1993. Heartbeat News publishes four times a year, with a total circulation of 35,000 per issue. It is distributed throughout the Chinese community in Chinese newspapers and by subscription. Designated areas and Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario Area Offices also distribute the paper. You may also print a PDF copy.
