Emergency wallet card for heart attacks and strokes
With this emergency wallet card, you can always be prepared when you need to know the warning signs and signals and take action right away. When you do, you can help save a life – maybe your own or your loved one’s. Thousands of Canadians die from heart attacks every year because they don’t get medical treatment quickly enough. And only 20% to 25% of those who have a stroke actually get emergency care and treatment within three hours of the onset of symptoms – the critical timeframe during which treatment is most effective. Keep this emergency wallet card with you at all times. It may help save a life.
