Arrhythmia is an abnormal heart rhythm based on electrical activity of the heart. This presentation discusses the different forms of arrhythmia, diagnostic tests and treatment. With proper management by specialists, the majority of patients with arrhythmia can lead a normal life.

This presentation will focus on the various aspects of early recognition of stroke symptoms, the timely need for emergency care and the usual medical care of acute stroke patients who are hospitalized. Primary and secondary stroke prevention strategies are also discussed.
