Their contributions lead to not only more years, but more quality years for those at risk or affected by heart disease and stroke.
Heart and Stroke Foundation donors and researchers are saving lives - and enhancing the lives of people living with heart disease and stroke. Selfless by nature, donors and researchers typically shy away from the spotlight. But we feel compelled to share their stories of commitment and passion.
We are privileged to work with such caring people, and it’s because of them that we confidently move forward with our goal of giving Canadians longer, fuller lives. Their contributions lead to not only more years, but more quality years for those at risk or affected by heart disease and stroke. More years to spend with family, pursue dreams and create cherished memories.
It’s motivating and inspiring to see donor-supported research move from hypothesis to action, directly resulting in fewer Canadians suffering and dying of heart disease and stroke.
Despite incredible advances, however, heart disease and stroke still cut too many lives short. There is still so much more we need to do. Our mission is to create healthy lives free of heart disease and stroke.
Imagine healthy lives free of heart disease and stroke. Together, we will make it happen.
